About The Position:
The SEO team member must be available for work between 15 - 20 hours per week. Ideally we are looking for someone with technical SEO skills, writing skills, and someone who is entrepreneurial in strategizing approaches, reporting their findings and recommendations to our team, and leading on implementation.
We manage several sites on behalf of our clients and for our own organization. In overseeing SEO across these sites, we expect the SEO team member to identify opportunities and interactions to advance our overall SEO strategy.

Above all, we expect the SEO specialist to “own their realm” in the space and be a proactive self-starter. What we mean is, we expect the SEO team member to advise us on SEO best practices that may be out of our wheelhouse and work independently to implement solutions.

- Regular SEO audits of the sites we oversee
- Regular reporting and analysis on SEO growth, technical issues, opportunities, or threats
- Consistent keyword research
- Content writing, as necessary
- Regular SEO updates and technical implementation on the sites, including but not limited to: meta adjustments, H-1 tag adjustments, schema markup, internal linking, backlinking, page crawling, etc
- At times, the role may require being present at client team meetings. We’re looking for someone comfortable with sharing their findings and strategizing solutions.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Must have experience setting up, analyzing and reporting from Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics. SEMrush and other SEO tools a big plus.
- We expect the SEO specialist to be on top of Google’s latest shifts in algorithms and other best practices for SEO
- Very strong written and oral communication skills. Content writing experience and the ability to write in a variety of formats is a necessity.
