Duties and Responsibilities:
The Operations Associate will engage in the following but is not limited to:
- Support project leads on ongoing projects which may include researching and drafting documents, managing logistics and email communications, and overseeing development or updates.
- Manage logistics and participant communication for virtual meetings and (when travel permits) in-person meetings.
- Maintain and boost engagement on online platforms and online communities by designing engagement posts and maintaining a list of members.
- Assist grants and contracts management which may include tracking grant reports and compiling deliverables to draft grant reports, PowerPoints, and initial financial reporting.
- Manage billing and invoicing process, including filing contracts, tracking property tax documentation, and liaising between employees, contractors, and outside accountants.
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, knowledge, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 year of professional work experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Exemplary follow-through and flexibility, especially in the face of unexpected challenges
- Experiences with Microsoft and Google Drive platforms
- Experience drafting and editing effective, error-free content
- Interest in the education field and passion for educational equity
